Seniors Face Issues with Financial Aid

Haroon Moghul: “Islam Meets America”

On March 5, the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at Fordham College Lincoln Center (FCLC) welcomed Haroon Moghul to speak at an event titled “Islam Meets America: Working Toward a 21st Century Community.”

On Feb. 18, the Associated Press exposed the New York Police Department (NYPD)’s surveillance of Muslim college students across the northeastern United States. NYPD monitored the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at Ivy League schools including Yale and Columbia.

Lecture Connects Catholicism, Judaism and Islam

On Nov. 9, Fordham welcomed people to join its Fall alumni event titled the “Fall McGinley Lecture of Law and Love: Jewish, Christian and Muslim Attitudes.” According to Matthew Windels, Fordham College at Rose Hill (FCRH) ’13, the purpose of the lecture was to relate religious laws between Catholicism, Judaism and Islam and allow people to develop an appreciation for all faiths.
