Fordham Reaches Double Digits in Fulbright Scholars

Measles Outbreak: The Controversy Behind Vaccinations

Measles outbreaks across America, including one at Disneyland, have highlighted the growing issue surrounding parents not vaccinating their children. Students in New York are allowed to enroll in and attend school without vaccinations, such as the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

McKeon Residence Hall Used for Class

January 28, 2015
Part of McKeon Residence Hall is acting as an academic building this semester with two sections of Math for Business Calculus being held on the 22nd floor. The lounge, already equipped with a projector and whiteboards, officially doubles as a classroom. Although this is a first for McKeon, the concept of class being taught outside the classroom is not a new one for Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC).

Undoing Racism Collective Created in Wake of Ferguson

In light of the recent riots in Ferguson, Mo. and protests in New York City that passed through Columbus Circle, the Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC) community members established the Undoing Racism Collective, which met for the first time on Monday, Dec. 1.

Campuses Registration Inequity

Fordham University’s registration system may be unable to handle simultaneous multi-campus registration which creates disparities in an attempt to maintain equity. Fordham University Lincoln Center (FCLC) students register before Fordham College Rose Hill (FCRH), but FCLC students have to make concessions because of this.

S.A.G.E.S. Continues Safe Sex Advocacy

In recent weeks, Students for Sex and Gender Equity and Safety Coalition (S.A.G.E.S.) has posted flyers around Fordham College at Lincoln Center’s (FCLC’s) campus. S.A.G.E.S. is promoting safe sex at Fordham and advocating against their perception of the Administration’s absent response to demands for a wider access to contraception on campus.
