Rebecca (Becca) Thompson, Fordham College at Lincoln Center '20, is a Staff Writer for the News section of The Observer. She majors in Psychology with hopes to work in research, which has influenced her decision to write for The Observer. Her hobbies include making music, shopping at Trader Joe's and eating pho.

Fordham Anticipates a Required Diversity Course in the Future

A task force called together by Father McShane developed the idea of a required credit-bearing diversity course for Fall 2019, but it is likely to undergo a three to five year delay. The program is a part of the newly implemented First Year Experience, a multifaceted interactive yearlong program for freshmen.
