This corner of the museum remarkably resembles the floral decor of the high-status Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.

The line to the main entrance went all the way down the steps and reached the food carts that rest on Fifth Avenue. This side entrance leading into the Uris Center for Education, however, had no line and is labeled for members of The Met and touring groups. You can find this door to the left of the main staircase, on the ground-level in front of 81st Street.  Tickets are purchased upon entry and if you bring student identification, you can pay as much as you wish.
