“Forgotten Americana: Days After Graduation” examines the areas surrounding Fordham and the greater New York area in the summer months following graduation. The images document the immediate area around the university, the life of Fordham students during the early summer months and social life in New York. This set of images is part of a larger body of work aimed at documenting forgotten events in the day-to-day life of Americans. This set looks to comment on the American national myth by looking at some of its cracks and some concrete examples of American collectiveness.
