Skreeeeeeeeeemff… And everyone loads off

A Bell rings: Stand clear of the closing doors please

Chi-chi-chi-ka Chi-chi-ka Chi-ka Chi-chi-ka Chi-chi-ka

On the platform sit two

She wears a shirt

He wears a smile

Bua-bu-bu Cha-ka-bua,

Bua-bu-bu Cha-ka-bua

He plays

As they race, side by side

towards the end of the song

and the start of the next

Du-du-du-da du-du-du-da

Du-du-du-da du-du-du-da

She plays

As they play the show of their lives

Two buckets, their knees, the floor,

anything makes noise when it pays for dinner

Surrounded by noises, everyone hears nothing but the

Boo-boo-clack boo-boo-boo-clack

Boo-boo Boo-clack Boo-boo-boo-clack

From JZ, TLC , MC whatever,

Or whichever combination of letters they choose to plug into today

Headphones pump fake platinum beats over real plastic rhythms

Skreeeeeeeeeemff… And everyone loads off

A Bell rings: Stand clear of the closing doors please

Chi-chi-chi-ka Chi-chi-ka Chi-ka Chi-chi-ka Chi-chi-ka

as the train pulls away, and everyone’s gone

again he smiles, wondering

Why would you wear headphones to a symphony?
