USG and CAB host a successful Christmas tree lighting in person and virtually

With Thanksgiving less than a week away and the semester nearing the transition to online learning, students gathered on the plaza a little early this year for the Christmas Tree Lighting. The festive Lincoln Center tradition is organized annually by the United Student Government (USG) and Campus Activities Board (CAB). Fifty in-person attendees got to make snowflakes and treat themselves to cocoa and cookies, and the tree-lighting ceremony was also livestreamed on the USG Instagram account for virtual viewers.
Hot chocolate and cookies were served at the tree lighting.
