Students were welcomed back from winter break on Monday to a brand new cafeteria. Fordham College at Lincoln Center students shared their reactions to the recently renovated Ram Café with The Observer.

The changes made over winter break included a new salad bar replacing the self-service bar and an opening up of the general layout of the cafeteria. The previous four registers were removed and replaced with three, while the hot food bar was replaced with an entirely new retailer, called Energy Kitchen.

According to a release, Energy Kitchen features a menu of “grilled, baked or steamed” items all with less than 500 calories. Food options include turkey burgers, “90 percent lean sirloin burgers,” chicken fajita wraps, baked sweet potato fries and black bean and mango salad.
