Fordham Celebrates Year of the Rat for Lunar New Year

The kickoff for the 2020 Lunar New Year fell on Jan. 25, heralding the start of the Year of the Rat. At Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC) the Asian American Pacific Islander committee (AAPI) collaborated with the Asian-Pacific American Club (APAC) to ring in Lunar New Year with a week full of activities inspired by Asian festivities during the holidays.
Mulkeen left a lucrative career in finance in order to serve his Universitys local Bronx community.

NYC Mourns Fordham Alumnus and Police Officer Killed in Line of Duty

NYPD Officer Brian Mulkeen, Fordham alumnus of Gabelli School of Business at Rose Hill (GSBRH) ’08, passed away after being shot in the line of duty on Sept. 29, 2019. He was 33 years old and lived in Yorktown Heights, New York.
Fordham students were among the estimated 250,000 protestors who attended the rally. The event was held in advance of the United Nations Climate Summit.

On the afternoon of Sept. 20, 2019, millions of people worldwide gathered to take part in youth-led climate protests. New York was no exception — an estimated 250,000 people marched through lower Manhattan to demand action on climate change.
