USG Candidates Debate Ahead of Contested Election

As the moderators pressed the candidates on their platforms, Tong and Thermadam focused their responses on the organization of clubs at Fordham and student involvement on campus. The candidates also clashed over the structure of USG itself and their vision for the university.
Caitlin Bury and Anna Moneymaker, FCLC ’22
Moneymaker said that it’s their warm lighting and general cleanliness that makes the room feel like home. “We also have air fresheners which make our room ultra cozy,” Moneymaker added.
Bury said, “We’ve created a space that has our California vibe, which is where we’re both from, with warm and earth-tone accents and posters and pictures that represent our interests and the things that comfort us.” Though, if Bury had to choose one thing, “I’d probably say my ‘Lady Bird’ poster or this orange pillow with white embroidered flowers.”
