United Student Government partners with The Positive and Facilities to work within city and building codes to work toward implementing gender-neutral bathrooms on campus.

“The history of bathrooms is totally sexist…I mean, women didn’t have bathrooms in the workplace until 1930,” Timoney continued. “So now there is a specific count of bathrooms in buildings designated for males and females,” Timoney said.
