Nice timely themer. I appreciate the Fordham references at 41A and 29D. More of those, please!
Quite a few partials made it less pleasant. Didn’t finish since I didn’t know Taylor Swift’s song, the Hawaiian tree, or the spirit molecule. With all letters except 1st and 3rd in place, there were at least 3 plausible answers for 33D. It could have been clued in a non-Swiftie way. Wondering about the clue for 42A. Wikipedia says it “is a shrub growing to 1–3 m (3.3–9.8 ft) tall, rarely a small tree to 9 m (30 ft) tall” and “It can grow in a variety of areas but should not be planted in places prone to fire because it burns quite easily.”
