Singer-songwriter Omar Apollo brought his “God Said No” tour to Queens on Sept. 7 with a show at Forest Hills Stadium. After opening sets from Laundry Day and Malcolm Todd, Apollo took the stage in a sparkling white outfit and floor-length fur coat. He performed a setlist featuring hits from his three most recent albums, and nearly every song from his 2024 album “God Said No.” Between the concert’s razor-sharp choreography, special guests Montell Fish and Ruel, creative special effects and a crowd of adoring fans undeterred by the rain that poured over the open-air venue for the first half of the evening, Apollo put on a remarkable show.
