In Memory of Sept. 11
September 10, 2011
Just blocks away from Fordham College at Lincoln Center, a Sept. 11 memorial stands. This Sept. 11 memorial is specifically meant to honor the first responders of the tragic attack. Located next to Central Park, both tourists from around the world and New Yorkers pay tribute to those who risked their lives for the safety of others. The faces of the heroes are embedded into the American flag, as two other pieces of tribute artwork surround the flag.
