BREAKING: 2020 Commencement Pushed to 2021

In an email to the Class of 2020 on Aug. 13, The Office of the President announced that the Class of 2020 will not be having an in-person graduation this fall due to New York’s restrictions on large events and Fordham’s safety concerns.
The university originally postponed commencement on March 27 but had hoped to host graduates back on campus in the fall. The Commencement Office will reach out to students with further information and potential dates in the spring.
“Please know that I continue to pray for you and the entire Class of 2020 and look forward to congratulating you in-person when it is safe to gather together again at Rose Hill,” President Rev. Joseph M. McShane, S.J. wrote in the email.
