Fordham Consolidates Off-Campus Buildings at 45 Columbus
August 28, 2015
Over the summer Fordham at Lincoln Center moved the various off-campus academic and administrative offices into the newly renovated 45 Columbus building across the street.
Before the building’s purchase in spring 2015, 45 Columbus was the home of The College Board, which publishes the SAT, the standardized test taken as a requirement for many American universities. The College Board also administrates the PSAT and the Advanced Placement (AP) examinations.
Now located in this building is the Communications and Media Studies department, which had recently moved to 33 W 60th Street, a building that was previously leased by Fordham. The offices of that major, along with the offices of Career Services and International and Study Abroad Programs (ISAP). Communications and Media Studies is currently the only undergraduate liberal arts major program located in 45 Columbus.
