Monday, Nov. 12
-From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., visiting professor to FCLC Hussein Rashid will be discussing the influence that Islam has on American music, from blues to hip hop. This event takes place in the Student Lounge and is for FCLC students only.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

-This event will be held from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Columbia University Faculty House located at 64 Morning Side Drive in Presidential Room 1. Those who are attending must enter through 116 Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive.

-The Commuter Student Association (CSA) is hosting a dinner outing to Serendipity 3. Those who are interested in attending must sign up in Room 408 and make a $5 deposit. This event is open to FCLC students only.

Thursday, Nov. 15

-This event is open to FCLC students only. It is being held in conjunction with Global Outreach, Rainbow Alliance and Student Organization of Latinos.

-The PreLaw Society invites students to come speak with Fordham Law School professors about their experience as professors of law. This is an information session and will be held in LL 910 at 12:45 p.m. Free food will be available. This event is open to FCLC students only.

-The Campus Activities Board invites students to a movie outing to see the next 007 movie: “Skyfall.” Those who are interested in attending should sign up in room 408 as soon as possible. Meet in the Lowenstein Lobby at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 17
-The Fordham University Association invites both faculty members and staff to see the annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The show will take place on Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Seats are available in Orchestra sections one and two, along with rows C-Q. For adults, tickets are $65 and for children it is $60 (12 years and younger). Faculty and staff members interested in purchasing tickets to the show must access the Fordham website (www.fordham.edu) and navigate to the event calendar. Once your check is received by the university, your tickets will be sent to you in the mail. No refunds or exchanges. Please send all questions about the event to [email protected].
